Estimated refund

Estimate uses 2025/26 rules: £12,570 personal allowance, 20%/40% bands, Class 4 NI at 6%/2%, CIS withholding at your rate, £1,000 trading allowance where it beats itemised expenses. Your exact number comes from your CIS statements.

Send us your documents today and relax: prepared, checked and filed within days, every allowable expense claimed, one fixed fee agreed up front. This is the tax return without the January panic.

How we work

A Self Assessment tax return should not eat your evenings. Send us your documents — payslips, bank interest, dividends, rental statements, CIS statements — and we prepare, check and file, claiming every allowable expense and relief you are entitled to. Fixed fee, agreed before we start; filed in days, not weeks.

CIS subcontractors are a speciality: contractors deduct a flat 20% (30% unregistered) all year, which is why most construction workers are owed a refund. We check the statements, claim the real expenses and file — the average CIS refund we recover is over £2,000.

Frequently asked questions

What do you need from me?

Identification once, then the year’s documents: employment (P60/P45), self-employment income and expenses, CIS statements, rental income, bank interest and dividends. A checklist in your language arrives after the first call — photos of documents are fine.

How fast can you file?

Straightforward returns are typically prepared within days of receiving complete documents. January is busier — sending documents early keeps you out of the queue.

How big are CIS refunds really?

Our filed average is £2,000+. It depends on income, deduction rate and real expenses — the calculator above gives an honest range in sixty seconds.

What if I have missed earlier years?

We can file up to four earlier years, and often recover refunds from them too. Overdue returns are handled through our HMRC Support service so penalties are minimised and appealed where possible.
